Presentation NIght

Than you everyone for making Saturday a great evening. I think everyone had fun and it was a good turn-out. My best wishes to those who could not be there. Your trophies will be passed on to you.

Next Sunday is our recruitment day. Details on this website and also on the back page of the Worcester News on Monday (9th). I hope to see as many people there as possible.

U14's Make us Proud !

Playing an unbeaten side and a top of the league team, the boys ran their socks off !

They kept Newtown at bay and were only 1-0 down at half time.

Our boys couldn't hold them off however,

and became runners up with the final score 5-0.

The U14s were playing for the Wayne Phillpots Memorial Shield at Malvern.

Under 13 Girls

Worcester Raiders Herons made the long trip to Hereford to play second placed FC Phoenix and came away with a fine 2-1 victory.

Two first half goals gave the Herons a 2-0 interval lead and although FC Phoenix pulled 1 back 8 minutes fropm time the herons held on.

Chloe Tyler was commanding at centre half and was awarded man of the match.

Well done girls!

Welcome to new coaches and committee members

I'd like to welcome some new coaches and committe members to the club.

Will Stelling joins Darren B. as Coach for the U15's.

Andrew Sanghera joins Darren E. as Coach for the U11 Robins.

Karen & Liz join the Committee as our chief fundraisers and social events organisers.

More Coaches, More Committee

We are always on the lookout for more coaches and more commitee members.
If you are able to give up some time to help the kids or to help run the club you
would be very welcome.

The Committee has a 'hard core' of members but not by choice. We are all keen to welcome new parents who want to participate.

Our next meeting is tonight, but if you want other dates ask one of the coaches on match day.

A Fresh Start

Well, we've been talking about websites now for quite a long time!

We tried the volunteer route but due to other commitments it was difficult for them to devote the time needed.

We tried with the Proboard but have had limited success.

We also agreed at Committee to spend some money with a professional (but your Chairman never got round to it!)

So now, as my punishment, I've researched the best way of getting ourselve on the web cheapest and using Blogger seems to be the best.
